Getting There & Local Logistics
By Car: From Autobahn A6 (Saarbrücken–Mannheim), take exit “Neuleiningen” (exit 17). Follow the B271 towards Altleiningen; once in the village, signs will direct you up the hill to the castle. Parking is available free of charge in a paved lot directly below the hostel.

By Train & Bus: The nearest regional train station is Grünstadt (Grünstadt Hbf). From Grünstadt, Bus Line 743 runs to Altleiningen (journey ~20 minutes); the bus stop “Altleiningen Burg” is a short walk (5 minutes uphill) to the hostel entrance. Timetables should be checked on Deutsche Bahn or Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (VRN) websites.
